Kayam Farm

Kayam Farm is located in Reisterstown, Maryland. Kayam (which means "enduring" in Hebrew but also "sustainable") cultivates environmentally and spiritually rooted Jewish culture in Baltimore, the Chesapeake watershed and beyond...

This unique farm, which the Greater Baltimore Jewish community takes great pride in, is a program of the Pearlstone Retreat Center. Pearlstone meets the lodging, dining and programmatic requirements of non-profit groups, from all streams of Judaism, as they engage in educational, environmental, cultural, and spiritual programming. Pearsltone is committed to promoting, modeling and operating a bio-sustainable life-style.

This is Kayam's third growing season and the second season for the CSA. The sphere of influence of the farm has extended beyond the farm, with CSA members planting extra tomato and pepper seedlings in their own backyards.
