Teens

We especially welcome teens, age 13-19, to the Hazon Food Conference to explore the intersection of Food, Jews and Contemporary issues. At the Conference you'll get a chance to connect with friends, new and old, at the beautiful beaches of the Monterey Coast, CA. We'll celebrate together with Jewish activists and food lovers to explore key questions about where our food comes from. Leading Jewish environmental educators at the Teva Learning Center will be on hand to be your guide at the Hazon Food Conference and teen participants at the Food Conference will have the special chance to:

* develop and connect with your love of food and sustainability,
* enjoy special sessions and gatherings just for teens on the beach, in sessions or at meals,
* spend some quality time with your family in a unique setting,
* grow and learn Jewishly,
* meet interesting new people from around the country and the world,
* participate in religious services, go to yoga or meditation,
* learn about worm composting, sourdough making and other cool do-it-yourself skills.
