Starting in 2010, there will be one Israel Ride, in the Fall.

Both 2009 Rides will have:

  • New Pre-Ride touring options
  • A relaxing Shabbat experience in Mitzpe Ramon to break up the riding days
  • A visit to the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and Kibbutz Ketura
  • An off-road option to a desert spring
  • On route education on environmental issues, history, and geography
  • Three riding groups - Our new group Shomrim for less experienced Riders will ride shorter distances (approx. 40 miles / day) and have more time for on-route education. Tzofim will ride our standard route of about 60 miles / day, while Chalutzim is designed for stronger Riders and will move at a faster pace and will have a longer, more challenging route.
