Hazon has been at the forefront of founding and catalyzing the American Jewish Food Movement – a growing range of programs and experiences that are helping to create a healthier and more sustainable Jewish community, and a healthier and more sustainable world for all while renewing Jewish life in the process.

Through a series of One Day Food Conferences we want to bring the content and energy of our multi-day annual Food Conference to a wider number and range of people. Workshops, DIY experiences, text study, formal and informal education for diverse populations and inspiration at all levels are meant to engage the full spectrum of Jews in connecting sustainability to Jewish life.

We currently have one day Food Festivals planned for 2013 in New York, San Francisco and Colorado.

We hope to engage local communities around the country to bring the model to their own backyards.
