Packing
Throughout the Israel Sustainable Food Tour, you will need to pack your belongings so they can be moved from stop to stop. We strongly suggest packing lightly!
Luggage | Laptops | Day Bags | How Much to Bring & Packing List
Luggage
We recommend that each participant bring only one piece of luggage. You will need to carry your own luggage from the bus to your room every evening, and then back to the bus every morning, and load it in and out of the bus yourself. Some overnights are at motel-style guest houses which can be spread out.
Space is limited in the bus’s luggage compartments, so we ask that you keep your bags to under 50 pounds (the standard requirements for flying). Please remember that we are traveling through a desert so suitcases can get dirty.
Laptops
If you wish to bring a laptop we cannot be responsible if it gets lost, broken, or if something else happens to it. We highly recommend that all laptops be stored in a dedicated carrying case or sleeve that you are comfortable carrying on your person at all times.
Day Bags
We strongly suggest that participants bring a small day bag or backpack to carry necessities for the day. This bag is a good place to keep emergency needs, your reusable water bottle, and other items you might want on the road. Please note that you will need to carry this bag with you throughout the entire day. We cannot be responsible for items left on the bus.
Packing List & How Much to Bring
Please refer the packing list (coming soon) for a full list of items needed or recommended on the Tour. The Tour is casual, although layers are recommended since it can get chilly at night.
