You can be involved in the Ride in many ways in addition to Riding. Sponsoring your friends who are riding is a great way to continue to support the important work of Hazon. You or your business can also sponsor a piece of the Ride to show support, promote your business or celebrate an important life cycle event.  Opportunities for sponsorship are listed below and all items can be sponsored by multiple people. Please contact Nancy at Hazon to customize your sponsorship package.

Hazon Water Bottles – $1000

Every participant at the NY Ride receives a water bottle that is 100% Biodegradable, Recyclable and Reusable.  It is the perfect opportunity to promote your business at the Ride and throughout the year as participants use their bottles for months to come.  Past sponsors have included 5 Spoke Creamery and the Skirball Center for Adult Jewish Education. We will work with you to design a bottle that highlights your organization.

Meals – $2000

The NY Ride includes ten meals that feature kosher, local and mostly organic food.  You can sponsor a meal at the Ride. Yoursponsorship will be listed in the Rider Pack and announced at the meal. If you are present at the Ride, you will also have any opportunity to speak to the group.

Kiddush – $250

On Shabbat morning, we bring the entire community together from the various Shabbat morning services and activities we offer to say Kiddush together, enjoy a little nosh, and hear a brief D’var Torah (words of Torah) before the keynote presentation. Previous sponsors have include Jenny Eisenberg in honor of her birthday and becoming a Bat Torah, Heidi Sadowsky in honor of her adult Bat Mitzvah, and Lisa Glass and Martin Kornstein in honor of their marriage.

Tisch/Oneg – $250

Shabbat evening after dinner some of the community comes together for singing, stories and adult beverages.

Rest Stops – $500

During the 2-Day bike ride we set up 7 rest stops along the route. Rest stops have food, drinks, and fun. We use parks or locations of Jewish interest in places of stunning natural beauty. Your sponsorship of the rest stop will help us defray the costs of providing food and shade for our riders. As the sponsor you have the option to be present and help us crew that stop. We will list you as the sponsor of the rest stop in the Rider Pack, name the rest stop after your sponsorship and hang appropriate signage at the rest stop.

Closing Ceremony – $2,500

As we end the Hazon Ride in Manhattan, our participants and their guests will come together to celebrate their achievements. While riders recover from the ride they enjoy ice cream, beverages, and shop at the Adamah Farmer’s Market. As a sponsor of the closing ceremony you or your company will be listed in the Rider Pack, a banner highlighting your sponsorship will be hung at the closing and if you are present you will have the opportunity to address the group.
